In August 2024, the Diamondhead City Council in Mississippi passed a motion to disavow actions taken by Mayor Nancy Depreo. The council’s decision came after an incident in July 2024 where Depreo and her son were accused of taking pictures of license plates in the city hall parking lot.

Mayor Nancy Depreo continuously embarasses the City of Diamondhead, harassing constituents and employees.
